Lead project developer creating Virtual Reality content and co-inventor of the Varrier™ auto-stereoscopic barrier strip display. Co-authored papers on VR systems published at SIGGRAPH and SPIE 2001 and premiered the Varrier system at IEEE VR 2004.

Assisted instructor in guiding students in programming computer graphics utilizing C/C++, OpenGL and glut. Administered a computer lab that consisted of 12 SGI workstations. Installed and updated software, created and maintained user accounts, configured the network and assisted students with lab projects. Guest lecturer for several Virtual Reality art courses in the School of Art and Design.

About Todd

My research represents a formal inquiry into the friction between users and data. By architecting novel hardware and algorithms, these projects establish new benchmarks for how we visualize and interact with massive, multi-dimensional datasets.
