Conversational Analytics
Before the era of Large Language Models, I co-developed a pioneering chatbot for Qlik Sense designed to democratize data access through natural language interaction. By architecting a seamless integration with the Qlik Sense Engine API, the system allowed users to query complex datasets and receive instant, visualized answers through a conversational interface.
A core focus was bridging Natural Language and analytics. The work to validate and bring in acquisitions kept Qlik ahead of the curve and laid the perfect groundwork for the conversational AI and LLM era we're in now. The project's strategic value was validated when CrunchData and Kyndi were acquired by Qlik, leading to full integration into the core Qlik platform. This served as an early blueprint for inquiry-based analytics, moving beyond traditional dashboards to create a symbiosis between human language and computational logic.
